Alternate Routes is U92's music showcasing of the best that Americana music offers. Commonly mixing bluegrass music of modern times with that of years ago, the show far reaches the boundries of all genres fitting the category of country. It's not rare to hear classic country tracks from the likes of Nashville's golden boys and girls, or traditional banjo and fiddle tunes.

The show airs for one hour each Sunday (when there are no programming interruptions) and begins at 2pm.
